Lukas has been residing and working in Brazil since 2007. He initially worked as a U.S. capital markets lawyer at Shearman & Sterling’s São Paulo office. From 2009 onwards, he worked for Brazilian business law firms where he represented a large number of non-Brazilian companies in doing business in Brazil and was confronted with their difficulties in administrating their business and, in general, adapting to the local culture.

Today, Lukas is the manager of a significant number of companies and represents the interests of foreign shareholders as their statutory Brazilian attorney-in-fact.
Prior to moving to Brazil, Lukas worked in Brussels (Belgium) at the European Commission (DG Trade - Latin America) and as a lawyer at a leading international law firm in the field of European Trade and WTO law.
